I appreciate that you made this distinction for religious fanatics.

I agree that fundamentalist Protestants and Muslim extremists probably place little value on secular higher education.

On the flip side, Anglicans, Episcopalians, Jews, Buddhists, Presbyterians, Unitarians, and United Church of Christ are more educated than atheists - as proven by reputable scientific polling.

Even Orthodox Christians - who are considered religiously conservative - are equally as well educated as atheists, at least within the statistical margin of error.

The problem is you have the southern Baptists, Pentecostals, and other dumb ass bible thumpers dragging down the educational average of religious people.
