Trump cheated on his SAT by paying someone to take it for him, according to Mary Trum

:good4u: Nothing to do with what we're discussing...when will you ever learn?;)

..or the hazard of cherry-picking quotes out of context.

In this case, both. They've seized on this like they did with the misquoted Obama statement "You didn't build that."

It's not easy being a Reichtard. They really have to dig deep into the septic field to find this stuff.

Unlikely since she obviously embellishes or outright lies in it at several points we do know about. It is absolutely clear Donald was not "institutionalized for most of his adult life" as one example. That can't be explained away. Either she doesn't know her uncle well, is lying her ass off, or is just stupid, saying that is incredibly dumb. That's one example.

When she says he has been "institutionalized for most of his adult life", she states that she means that he has not had to do normal things for himself. he has a problem driving, or even dressing himself. he has never learned how to tie a tie, and has not tied his shoes in years.

She is factually right on her statement. trump has not been legally institutionalized, but he has not done day to day things the rest of us are able to do.

You may believe that trump can learn to tie a tie, or his own shoes, and maybe even drive a car. Maybe you are right, maybe you are wrong. But Mary Trump will still be a good author.

Then she is an idiot. Words have meaning, and I've gone through this before. Being "institutionalized" means you have been put under professional care in a closed setting like a mental hospital or retirement home. Her version is nonsense. I would propose she used the word "institutionalized" for maximum negative impact expecting few readers to question it's use making her use of it not only a lie but a disingenuous attack on Donald that is undeserved. That in turn makes her book a work of questionable facts and opens the question What axes does she have to grind here?

Remember George HW Bush not being sure how to use a credit card at a grocery store? Same thing. Just because you have privilege and wealth doesn't make you some sort of incompetent in things that matter.

Mary Trump in writing a screed to attack her uncle rather than a dry factual account is doing herself a service and disservice all at once. Her book is worthless as non-fiction while being quite useful in the court of public opinion and as a fictional piece of political tripe to stir up the masses.

The most important proof is trump's speech. He shows how stupid he is every time he opens his food hole. He has a 5th-grade vocabulary and messes up any speech he gives. If he were not the accidental president, we could laugh at his embarrassing moments.

We were discussing your constant use of "two sets of rules." Are you having a brain freeze? Let me refresh whatever you have left. Two posts from the thread you were MIA from. :rofl2:

You'll have to get TOP to explain. I think we'd all enjoy that.

She's not being literal about "institutionalized." She's using it in the sense that trump was protected, cossetted and shielded by his family's money in a way that most people were not.

You are correct. But a nip of ambiguity and the rightys will quibble to death. It is another way of changing the subject.

And their bizarre belief that whatever #TRE45ON says is gold and true, but if one of his detractors can somehow be caught in a lie, then everything else they ever said about him is also a lie.

Bush could tie a tie throughout his presidency. Remember a businessman of that age would have been presented with tie tying daily for decades. I try to avoid wearing a tie, and have still tied a tie thousands of times. Even not tying his own shoes seems more minor, because he would have trouble doing so with how fat he is. But being unable to tie his own tie sticks with me.

There you go....;) That should put your team at ease;):good4u:
But there are too sets of rules here...it's no surprise...most often no real problem...
Or you'd be in trouble for mentioning PMs:laugh: More than once;) But whoo's counting?

Are you sure she wasn't writing about PMS? Or has that well dried up?

PMS? Perhaps;)
I understand that you're confused...so is she;)

It's hard to believe that you are an adult woman in her mid-60s. Why do you communicate (if it can be called that -- Grind says not lol) like a fifth-grader girl? Do you giggle a lot in real life too? Whisper secrets to one friend while looking at another? Pass notes? Get someone else to ask Earl or Steven if he likes you?
