There will be enough rain spread around the coast (Portsmouth) at that point to make it miserable for those who want
get there early and it'll make travel less than safe on Saturday. So, it's put off for a week.

Any kind of storm has surrounding conditions. It's not all about the dead center/eye of precise
landing. It's going to be a messy day in the new England area all day Saturday from about 3am.
