They should if they publish your name, phone number, and address after you tell them not to. That was always an option. Phone numbers and addresses are not necessarily considered public information either. Most states automatically allow persons in law enforcement, the judicial system, and others who have a high risk of potential retaliation by various groups or persons to keep this information private.
Anyone could do likewise by contacting the phone company, etc., and telling them to do likewise, sometimes for a small fee.

JFC. doxxing isn't the "white pages" - get a grip.

they use public records, like property records, tax documents, voter registration databases; they scour social media, real estate websites and even do real-life surveillance to gather information. Then, they publish the information online. Anyone could possibly ferret these out, but it takes time and effort and fees to do it.

By making the records easily available -it leaves it an easy pick up for radical nutcases to attack people
at the residences, work etc.
