There is, but there's little gun control in Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, and Missouri, which is where guns in Chicago come from. In fact, the Chicago city limits borders Indiana.
Chicago doesn't have a single retail gun shop anywhere.
So guns are trafficked into Chicago from out of state.
This is why we need a national gun control policy, not state-by-state.
I know this because I lived in Chicago.

In fact, Louisiana, Missouri, Alabama, and Mississippi all have higher rates of gun deaths per 100,000 than Chicago does.

Society has proven it cannot handle the responsibility, as we see in deaths, injuries, and lost/stolen weapons.
Every year, at least 200,000 guns disappear from the "responsible gun owners" and 10% of the time, they don't even tell the cops.

Not sure how comparing entire states to a city effects the stats, but, I like to think that people up in Chicago are more intelligent than people down in tardland.
It really should not matter if they are white or not, and there is no evidence that they were liberals, but it is important in knowing whether you are a truthful person.

Gun control is not a complete ban on guns. It would limit who could own a gun, but not a racial basis. Most countries have some level of gun control, and all first world countries have much lower murder rates than the USA.

Honestly, with gun violence rising out of control among uneducated rural whites, the primary group to be saved by gun control right now would be whites.
None of those stores are within Chicago's city limits, and if you weren't so fucking lazy, you would click on their locations and see.
