Lefties are having all manner of fun with this: tying it to Tulsa; trying to make it as if Trump is somehow complicit; and of course their favorite, masks.

I don’t know what kind of chemo Cain was on but some of that stuff can damage your heart and other organs. I know of at least one person who beat breast cancer only to die from cardiomyopathy. At any rate, Cain was part of the vulnerable population that comprises so much of the statistics.

Always seemed like such a nice man.

On average, symptoms showed up in the newly infected person about 5 days after contact. Rarely, symptoms appeared as soon as 2 days after exposure. Most people with symptoms had them by day 12. And most of the other ill people were sick by day 14. In rare cases, symptoms can show up after 14 days.

It appears that Cain was in the "Most people" category so becoming infected at the rally is a pretty good bet. Nevertheless, this boycotting the mask and foregoing social distancing is a Trumpian thing that Cain was stupid enough to buy into so regardless of where he became infected, it was still Trump influenced.

An intelligent person with his health history would have taken the virus into account and either skipped the bug-fest, or at least social distanced himself and worn an N95 mask. The fact that he didn't says a lot about his sad lack of wits.

What a stupid, terrible waste of his life. To have beaten a deadly disease like he did, only to take a pointless risk and die because of it.... what a shame. RIP Mr. Cain.
