But they will be for consumers. You literally said that the private energy companies have to artifically increase the cost of renewables in order to turn a profit. No, because solar and wind are uncompetitive with natural gas, coal, oil, nuclear, biomass, hydro, thermal, you-name-it.
Like I said before, if an energy company can't do its one job, then it shouldn't exist. Period.
