This is where I’ll rebel

I don the COVID Catcher where mandated—inside establishments. It’s very likely pointless but I comply.

I will not be made to wear one outside. They can do whatever they will with me—send me off to ‘the camp‘ or whatever.

But this is the sort of thing *these tyrants* have in mind if they aren’t beat in November.

It's actually counterproductive, and they damn well know it. Especially with no guidelines whatsoever on proper mask usage, and sanitation. https://abc7chicago.com/amp/covid-duke-university-face-masks-mask-study/6364791/

Not only did he discover that speaking did indeed produce plenty of droplets, but that the material used in some masks, especially the neck gaiters and bandannas they tested, was so thin it actually put more respiratory particles in the air than the baseline test with no mask at all.

What would you think about a caretaker who negligently gave your dad the flu or some other potentially deadly virus? What would you call it if they gave it to him intentionally and it either made him very sick or killed him? Would it be murder or just bad luck?

Well the problem I see is you seem to want to equate not wearing a mask with intentional infection. That's not a rational idea. Masks are marginally helpful at best and even fauci said distancing is more effective. As to my dad he couldn't care less about people around him wearing a mask and that was before he had it. He still works 35 hours a week.

That's a patently dumb strategy. Much like forcing 50 million onto unemployment rolls, destroying tens of thousands of businesses over something that has impacted 1.51% of the population.

Once again; wearing a mask does NOTHING to prevent you from getting infected without the proper seal to the face and eye protection. That's just the FACTS.
:palm:
Hence why Director Redfield said our nation was unprepared.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/08/13/coronavirus-covid-live-updates-us/
Years of underinvestment in public health infrastructure left the United States “unprepared” for the coronavirus pandemic — the country’s greatest public health crisis in 100 years — Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Robert Redfield said during an interview with WebMD on Wednesday. At least 163,000 people in the U.S. have died of covid-19 as of mid-August.

Trump is an fucking moron who thinks everything is about him; this pandemic is a global calamity which has done great harm to all but most harm to those who were unprepared for the eventuality.

Unless you positively know you are disease free, why would you risk spreading any disease? Would you want the same courtesy from others, especially around your loved ones?

Do you admit it's rolling the dice? Nothing to live in fear about, but certainly something our citizens should consider a civic responsibility.

Ever go out of your home with a cold? Why did you risk spreading your cold?

GOD! WE ARE GONNA' GET TIRED OF WINNING!

Because the more we win- THE MORE THEY WHINE!

I do my best to minimize spreading all diseases and take precautions in doing so. There's also the matter of mortality. What are the risks of dying from catching a cold vs dying from catching COVID?

By your refusal to answer, can I assume you don't care if others are careless in spreading disease to anyone you care about?

Arguments that equate the common cold to covid 19 are fucking stupid for stupid people.

The only comparison is at the viral level, not the policy and death level. :palm:

We deserve to fail. This country is full of retards.

So you should never go out of the house unless you "...positively know you are disease free..."? Thats an utterly absurd expectation. This will need to happen every year then during the flu season right?

Leaving the house is a roll of the dice. Why the need to overdramatize this thing? It is not a civic responsibility. That's ridiculous.

No, but thanks for twisting my words. It says a lot about you, how you think and the ideas you are trying to push.

Of course it's absurd to say that people shouldn't go out unless they are positively disease free. Only a fucking moron would suggest that idea. OTOH, sane adults know that if their disease status is unknown and has reason to be suspect beit a pandemic or a bareback extramarital sexual encounter ala' Trump and Stormy, then they should take precautions to avoid spreading disease to loved ones, friends and fellow Americans.

In the middle of a pandemic, it's reasonable to ask people to wear a mask, socially distance themselves, wash their hands regularly and be smart about crowds.

Honest, sane and intelligent people know there's more to it. Besides, I think mandating people wear it alone in their car or while sleeping at night is not only unConstitutional but will result in people giving Biden the same looks as whenever Trump says something royally stupid like injecting disinfectants.
Hey th question was what he said not what he meant or what you think he meant. H said OUTSIDE twice in his speech. Agree?
