Anatta lied, Florida most definitely NOT under control

He presented facts that were irrelevant to his original claim.
gawd almighty. It's a perfect storm of FUBAR NYC.

Violence and crime is way up,arrests are down, there is little or no cash bail, many businesses remain shuttered due to looting

Oh yeah. and the TAXES,

In actual surveys they've done, NYers say they're leaving because they don't want to live in a crowded area during a pandemic. Many have said they'll move back.

Violence is up - NYC has had violent periods before without an exodus. You have presented nothing to support your claim.

i just cited. you can show the survey if you like - but like a I said it's a perfect storm
While NY has been losing population -it's been accelerating since June -again see the link

I agree, we already have to many ppl here..........

I hear Mississippi needs more old ppl w/ money

Dude, Ferguson is a computer geek and all the ‘public experts’ you worship went by his model which was wildly off. AND they had to know of his reputation for being wildly off.

Something causes the decline after a spike so what is it?

Masks lol?

Yes.

The TOPIC is Florida and YOU said it was a DISASTER I pointed out that it wasn't a COVID disaster because NYC is the definition of a COVID disaster. The REAL COVID nursing home deaths in NY is very likely 1-2,000 more people than the ENTIRE state of Florida COVID deaths. Florida is a temporary hot spot not a full blown disaster like NY was. Moron.

So in other words all you have is more whiny whatsboutism. That’s the best you can do, How sad,

LOL :good4u: Well.........hope they like Trump boat parades!

The DUMBEST thing I have ever heard is the Alt Right claim that "Covid-19 can not spread on water", so guzzling beer and vomiting on each other supposedly does not spread Covid-19....

OK, aside from the ignoring of basic safety during a pandemic, why are these older adults drinking so heavily? When I was a college student in my early 20's, I drank heavily from time to time, but I am a full adult now, and would never do something so immature. Why are these people in theirs 60's or so drinking until they vomit in giant "flotilla parties"?

If you are worried about people drinking too much I wonder what the rate of alcohol consumption is now compared to a year ago?

Maybe for a little project today I’ll try to find some stats on alcohol sales. I’m while I’m at it I’ll look for death toll statistics *from* the lockdown instead of from COVID.

Might make for interesting reading. Things that go against the grain interest me.

You’re dodging.

You said FL was a ‘disaster’ so it’s only natural to ask ‘compared to what?’ Compared to NY in April, FL is a picnic.

The take home lesson from FL is you can make it the downside of the curve without sacrificing the state’s economy—and, without inflicting the undo misery and jobs loss that comes with it.

Maybe DeSantis should write a book on it.
