In Visiting a Charred California, Trump Confronts a Scientific Reality He Denies

I have a thread on the topic right now & have essentially said what I think about it, & have come to the same conclusions those in the clip did.....

That is exactly what I see in much of Calif now....... 100+ years buildup of trees so thick a man can't walk in there..

Yes, telling them is good, when I am out hiking I preach it all the time, as do a few others that know about it.. One particular leader worked in a mill for 20+ years & is often preaching about the overgrowth...

Sadly some of the area he milled is burning again...... Not been touched since they closed 30 years ago......... This is the section that did not burn back in 2008..

You might want to say that loud and clear to the many thick as shit liberals on here that tried to shout me down. Think of all the twats that were laughing at Trump for him using the word raking. Let me think of a few, oh yes, Joanie, Doris, Moonshi'ite, Dumber666, Nomads, Runeatic, Croc o' Shite, Arsecheese to name but a few!

To the global scientific community, the acres of scorched earth and ash-filled skies across the American West are the tragic, but predictable, result of accelerating climate change. Nearly two years ago, federal government scientists concluded that greenhouse gas emissions from burning fossil fuels could triple the frequency of severe fires across the Western states.

Federal government scientists? Not reliable. Too biased.

Was he handing out rakes to everyone

Deadwood from poor forest management beetle kill disease and drought causes the fires. Good forest management can reduce the fuel that feed the fires. That reduces their intensity and makes them more manageable.

Exterior water sprinklers trees cleared well away from a house and non-combustible roofing materials should all be part of the formula

Question: Why are the other Western states--the ones not run by Progressive Leftist Democrats for decades--not burning to the ground too? Arizona has forest fires every year. This has been a particularly mild season, as one example. Why aren't these states suffering devastating wildfires if it's all due to Gorebal Warming?

I should be on that list as well....... :)

The term does not translate well into American....

lol

While it could be effective in some areas,(along w/ other methods) it would not be in the Mts here as the terrain is high, steep & many trees are very large..

There is over 33 million acres, much of it needing attention now..

Anything could prob help on a local level-the longer they wait, the worse it will get.....

Trump was Right about “Raking” Finnish Forests

HEAVY MACHINERY “RAKES” FINLAND’S FOREST FLOORS AFTER TREE-CUTTING, GREATLY REDUCING FIRE RISKS

If Newsom believed the so-called "science", WHY didn't he clear out the dead wood and do controlled burns? Why didn't Jerry Brown do anything? Demcorats control the effing State. They've had total control with ONE PARTY RULE for a long time.

Ah, nearly half the acreage burning is on Federal land, so, tell us there “chiwawa,” who is responsible for “clearing out” dead wood?

It ain’t about who is responsible, but what is Trump going to do to address the crisis, he approved some help a month ago, but has vanished on the crisis since then, as I said, if it was a similar event in Florida Trump would have been there two days later touring with the First Lady in high heels

Problem is if the state won't allow logging and won't permit sawmills on state controlled land, the feds really can't do forest clearing. Worse, the number of sawmills and such for this work has been reduced to near zero in states like California. The lack of state cooperation has a lot to do with the inability of the feds to do healthy forest management.

What you won't see in California is many of these

What percentage of the homes that need protection are on State land, and why have the clairvoyant Newsom or Brown failed to act?

they have completely abandoned forest management.. why?

Who is they? The federal government controls 57 percent of Californias forest land. How good a job did they do? Just think if Trump did what he said is needed and the fires bypassed his incredible job, he would have a huge point to run on.

But that doesn’t sound as exotic as climate change lol.

Progressive like to sound all sciencey and stuff. And invoke phrases like ‘the global science community’ when all they need is a garden variety forester to tell them about this wonderful invention called ‘controlled burns’.

The fires are deliberately set by Burn Loot Murder.

The $50 billion newsom gives to illegal aliens every year should have gone to fire mitigation.

TRUMP has incited RIGHT WING EXTREMISTS to burn California, Washington, and OREGON to the ground.

BECAUSE HE CAN'T WIN IN THOSE BLUE STATES AND HAS BEEN INCITING HATRED AGAINST THEM!
