Those are not scientific polls but usually the tools of the campaigns. They are often designed as push polls or pull polls rather than actually seeking accurate public opinion. They are also easy to identify.
If a news source carries the Gallup Poll and it shows Biden leading in popular votes, the media is not lying to anybody.

None of the main stream (credible) news sources I read treated it as a known fact. They reported the issues leading to the investigation, the investigation itself, and then covered the report showing it found no collusion.
That is exactly what the press is supposed to do. They were not lying about the president because they reported about the investigation about collusion. There is a big difference between reporting on an investigation on collusion and reporting there was collusion.
Most of the fake news stories come from the White House. I can name many lies told by the president and none told by reputable news sources.

They use scientific sampling methods and are fairly accurate in the final results. 2016 found Hillary had a 2% popular vote lead and that is exactly what the final result was. Check your history of elections compared to poll results to find a very higher percentage of accurate results.

I did not say "no bias." I said they did not report the campaign had colluded but only reported there was an investigation.
One source is my local Hearst newspaper, another is the Houston Chronicle, and the Washington Post.
If you have stories in which they said the president colluded please include a link (other than editorials).
