Joseph Rosenbaum, the first person Rittenhouse shot was seen by numerous people engaged in arson during the riot in question. Rosenbaum is a convicted sex offender.

His last was Giage "Lefty" Grosskreutz. Grosskreutz pulled a pistol and pointed it at Rittenhouse who then shot and wounded him. Grosskreutz has a prior felony conviction for a burglary so he was in the commission of a felony merely possessing a firearm.

This isn't a judgement about the validity of Rittenhouse's actions. It is just a note on who the people he shot were (I won't call them victims as two out of three clearly intended by their actions to seriously injure or kill Rittenhouse).

Ian Cheong isn't "the skateboard guy", dude. Read your own link: Anthony Huber, aka “Skateboard Guy.” He’s the one caught on video beating a prostrate Rittenhouse with a skateboard. I also think he’s the same one caught delivering a roundhouse kick to Rittenhouse while he was down.

That we know of? Four at Rosenbaum, two at Cheong, one at Grosskreutz and two in the air right before firing on Cheong. Let's say 10. That makes it 10 out of 15 or more likely 20 total. We also can hear on the videos at least a dozen other shots fired by other people. I doubt the homeowners could prove that Rittenhouse was the cause considering all the other gunfire heard on the videos. It would be extremely hard to prove Rittenhouse made them.

It is Navy and federal policy in regards to firing on someone with a weapon to aim center mass (middle of the chest) and fire three rounds in rapid, aimed, succession. The objective is to "stop the action." That means render the threat harmless. I would say that Rittenhouse followed that pretty closely for not being a trained person.

It is possible also, in the case of Rosenbaum that Rittenhouse wasn't the only one to shoot him. There was other gunfire both seen by muzzle flash, and heard at the same time.

Sorry. Must have gotten the name wrong. The rap sheet is Huber's then. My mistake. He's still a felon and was committing a felony attacking Rittenhouse.

All of which can be true and still not get Rittenhouse off the hook for all of his charges. Next time, please check your facts, Chief.

Rittenhouse is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree reckless homicide, attempted first-degree intentional homicide and two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment.

He is also charged with possession of a dangerous weapon by someone under the age of 18 after taking the Smith & Wesson AR-15 style rifle across states into Kenosha.

I really am waiting for him to correct error he "found"...and then tell me how the scene unfolds, after watching the video....
I also need to know if everyone was out delivering Easter baskets...or if not, why they were there... rioting/disrupting/creating chaos....
If there's a nice peaceful protest that night in Kenosha, we're not talking about tragic loss of life....
