No, not really. The economy was mostly stagnant under Obama. Slight ups and downs in orders at the place I worked at. I was laid off a few times until I became manager.

Pretty well, actually. Drive thru is doing much better now that they can get ground beef for hamburgers. A steady, sometimes long line, and then there's the on-line takeouts. Pisses me off I sold it!

Supply problems was always the downside of "We have to do fresh".

There was never any quality payoff for that either, not at Wendys and not at McD's.

Some "chain restaurants" use specific suppliers. Subway is an example. They are not allowed to use alternate suppliers.
