60 percent think Biden won in post debate poll

I grew up on the Ford-Carter and Carter-Reagan debates, and it is hard to believe there are 30 million Americans who think a blustering, carnival barker is acceptable etiquette for the office of the presidency.

That's why we'll be voting for Trump again. Poor old Joe, he should have thought the Dems could field a better choice.

Or perhaps the opposition is so unacceptable that the carnival barker is seen as the lesser of two evils?

I think we won't know for a few days... but yeah. He moderated and owned the time... basically this was the opposite of the Biden/Paul Ryan debate...

I'd be absolutely shocked if he did anything but lose ground in the polls.

This was a base-only performance. I'm sure they loved the bullying boor act. He needed to expand his appeal, and it's more likely that he narrowed it.

I'm amazed that anyone could possibly think he won.

I'm amazed you think this debate changed anyone's mind.

That is over 60% who were pleased at former Senator and two term Vice President Joe Biden's handling of a lawlessly hacked in maniac and criminal against humanity tRump and his entire criminal family too and anything else associated with this un American and criminal against humanity 45 fraud squatted in the currently desecrated White House. This also includes who are all in violation of U.S. Constitutional law and all other civilized laws on Earth.

I thought Biden sounded weak.

In post debate poll
60% viewers thought Biden won
28% thought Fatso won

"Post-debate CNN poll: Six in 10 say Biden won the debate'

(CNN) Six in 10 debate watchers said former Vice President Joe Biden did the best job in Tuesday's debate, and just 28% say President Donald Trump did, according a CNN Poll of debate watchers conducted by SSRS

It wasn't a 'Debate'. It was a Clown Show. Trump won 'Best Clown'. Biden was picked as 'Person that thinks he's at a Debate', and came away with 'The Smart Person' Award.

I accept your admission Trumpf is a second rate carnival barker.

I submit that only Trump worshippers could possibly be impressed with the putulent, rambling, rude, off topic rants of an angry fat man who claims to represent the office of the presidency.

Post Debate Poll

"42 percent of debate watchers said they thought worse of Trump afterward, and 24 percent said they thought better of him. In contrast, 32 percent said they thought worse of Biden, while 38 percent thought better of him."

The 28% is Trump's base. Factor in another 30% for Biden's base and that leaves the Independents.

This election is more than just picking one of two septuagenarians as President, it's picking an entire party agenda. Both candidates were asked by Wallace to go against their own base and both danced around it without doing so.
