Putin 'to resign as Russian president' as footage uncovers major health concerns

Putin: From Oligarch to Kleptocrat

With the Kremlin’s transition to kleptocracy, the oligarchs’ betrayal of their country is complete. Far from being the patriot he poses as, Putin is a parasite who has sucked his fortune out of Mother Russia.

That's why he has been so beloved by the Russian people for so long, American politicians other than Trump can only dream of having the citizen support that Putin has had.

You know nothing.

The airliner incident happened because of Russian separatists, not the Russian government.

Those missile batteries were provided and manned by Russians you dumb, ignorant Marxist asshole. Go fuck yourself. Despot apologist morons like you make me puke. :palm:

Sure, but I doubt they wanted the missiles to be used on a commercial airliner.

Marxist moron thinks this is the first commercial airliner the Russians shot down.

Modern Russia is hardly Marxist. The Soviet Union has been dead for almost 30 years now. I'm not a despot apologist. I just don't hate Russia or Putin. And if you actually look closer at what has happened in Ukraine, it's not exactly a black and white conflict. Russian separatists and Ukrainian nationalists have both done some terrible things there.

It's not apologist to assume that Russia did not want a commercial airliner shot down, however. What strategic purpose would that serve? It should be clear that the entire incident was very bad for their side in general. It's very likely that the plane was shot by someone incompetent enough to mistake it for a fighter plane or military transport.

The airliner incident happened because of Russian separatists, not the Russian government. That would be like blaming the Irish government for the actions of the IRA.

As far as Crimea goes, what exactly can be done when a foreign nation invades part of another nation where the locals support the foreign government more than the local government? Crimea is heavily ethnic Russian, so it's not surprising that this happened. It doesn't make it right, but it's a lot like what happened in Kosovo. Enough Albanians moved to that part of Serbia that they successfully separated from Serbia.

If anything, both Crimea and Kosovo are a lesson that immigration can dramatically change the loyalties of an area.
US meddled in the Ukraine Euromaidan -essentially making sure a riot broke out which led to a revolution
Putin was denied a lease renewal by Poroshenko for Sevastopol.
That left Putin no chpice but to annex Crimea.

There is a lot more -but those are the reasons

maybe the two twins.. heir trump and putin can skip down the yellow brick road and DROP DEAD...
the world would be a better place.....

I called YOU the Marxist moron shit-for-brains.

So tell me what the strategic purpose of doing this is? So far as I can see, this was very negative for their side.

There was NONE. It was a mistake caused by Russian interference in a neighboring nation. I am surprised we have to spell this out to you. But then, you are a Marxist moron so there is that. :palm:

Now that is a massive pile of stupid Komrade. Yeah, Russia had no choice but to act like a rogue nation.
