New Republican Senator thinks US liberated France from the communists

LOL!

Remember when voters expected more from their elected representatives? Like that maybe they should be a bit smarter, more educated, better informed, etc. than the average Joe Schmoe? Some of us still do, but apparently not the knuckledraggers. lol

Coach Tuberville had a good record at Auburn, but at this rate, he's going to have a losing season for awhile.

What's to "explain"? But I did.... I said,
"There's always improvement when people work together, which is what I do every day.... you win with people, they say, after all..."
That's what we do here....so we'll be fine for the next 4 years....
Sit and spin like a top, TOP.

Nice joke. Remember not go completely apeshit when one of your opposites suggests nuking New York or Los Angeles. ;)

They've been suggesting that for years...(re: Turner Dairies).

We know that's what they want to do.

But what they don't seem to understand is that without Los Angeles and New York footing their tax bills for them, their shithole states would have to raise their rates just to maintain the poor quality of life that exists over much of flyover country today.

Almost every red state is a taker state.

I often wonder what Franklin would think of Trump. Ben was quick witted and sharp tongued, it would be interesting to bring him here. Where is Samantha to “Bewitch” when we need her.

Interesting to learn that you understand them so well that you are just like them.

Any honorable person would have thought about Trump just like Generals Kelly and Mattis and Rex Tillerson do. The only difference is Franklin would have used the 1800 equivalent of "fucking moron", not those actual words.

How stupid can a Republican Senator be and still be a Senator? First, elect a college football coach....from Alabama then elect him Senator.

As the Alabamians are finding out, "We get the government we deserve".

Tommy Tuberville may have gotten an “A” from Alabama voters Tuesday night, but likely earned an “F” from history teachers.

After easily defeating Doug Jones to become Alabama’s next U.S. Senator, Tuberville was addressing supporters in Montgomery and discussing his father – an American G.I. who landed at Normandy and fought in France.

Tuberville described how his father was a part of “liberating Paris from socialism and communism.

Americans liberated France from German Nazis – facists, not socialists, nor communists.

It wasn’t his first “historic” gaffe. During the campaign, Jones criticized Tuberville for not knowing what the Voting Rights Act was.

Tuberville, a former Auburn head football coach, defeated Jones with 60.4-percent of the vote.

Hitler and the Nazis are arguably history's most notorious mass murderers of communists and socialists.

The French armed resistance to Nazi occupation was led and spearheaded by the French Left - French socialists and comnunists

The French Right collaborated with the Nazis, particularly through their puppet Vichy regime.

Shit or get off the pot, TOP. You said "The rest of us will be fine until 2024". Explain yourself or go sit on a stick and spin.

Trying to pin that dumb twat down with any sort of intelligent statement other than a snark remark is like trying to play beach volleyball with soap bubbles.

Reagan and Bush the Dumber are the causes. Cult of personality on both. Both were horrible Presidents who ended their terms with chaos and recessions.

I remember when it was reported that voters said they voted for W because he "seems like a guy you'd want to sit down and have a beer with." WTF. Who wants to have a beer with the POTUS? Isn't he supposed to be a cut above us hoi polloi? As for Reagan, he played the part of a good president well, but wasn't one.

This is like something a fictional character would say in a movie to satirize how ignorant Americans are.
