As for the "states rights" canard, that's precisely what the city of Chicago is exercising (local, home rule) when trying to limit deaths in their locality that are a result of gun trafficking. YOU'RE the one who supports a "national utopia" where unfettered gun use/ownership is the law of the land, regardless of conditions on the ground. What's good for Casper, WY is good for CHicago, in your fucked up, antifederalism view.

If you want to get into the discussion of the Constitution, and the Supreme Court's complete disregard of 2nd Amendment precedent when they handed down their shameful (and incredibly narrow) 2A decisions in McDonald and Heller, we can do that. But you'll be clearly outmatched in that discussion, and you'll probably fire off a bunch of non-sequiturs and then quit the discussion like you did in the religion thread when it descended into your usual insults and "disbelief" about my profession.

This is literally like my dog accusing me of not having a law degree. You wouldn't know a legal argument from a toddler's argument. Your own understanding of the law, the Constitution, etc., is feeble at best.
