A Spanish language oddity:

Damelo- give it to me.

No me lo des- don’t give it to me.

A positive imperative has the direct and indirect object after the verb but a negative imperative has them before the verb.

Go figure.

I doubt Trump even pays attention to what's going on w/ COVID or the vaccine right now.

He's completely obsessed with losing the election. Losing on that scale has gone straight to the most vulnerable part of his damaged psyche.

We'll have to just get through it. We don't have a national leader right now. We have a guy who is spending every minute working through his own issues.

A vaccine in record time and a record distribution process in place and ready to deliver millions of vaccines across the country.

A crisis - whether it's a war, a pandemic, or economic crash - isn't something that the President of the United States should take time off from.

Operation Warp Speed (a no brainer that any leader would have done) was ages ago. We have a country that is under siege from a virus right now. I don't know how anyone can make excuses from Trump's absenteeism.

Just like the initial handling of the pandemic, which #COVID45 failed at, this calls for a *national* strategy and not the piecemeal clusterfuck we have currently. So it's no wonder that the lame duck has nothing. I'm sure Biden's team will have not only a plan but will have coordinated with the health depts. and governors of all the states so that the minute he is sworn in, the trucks and planes will be on their way, along with personnel to help administer the vaccines.
