If the officer murdered this individual, he will face such charges. It won't be just an early retirement.

There must be more to this than some black guy entering his gramma's house so a U.S. Marshall shoots him for that. I'm not defending the Marshall, just wondering what the heck prompted him to shoot.

there's no evidence to counter the cops statements...........so there will be no way for them to prove he murdered an innocent man. He was 'performing his duties making split second decisions in fear for his partners life'......

qualified immunity, don't need to know the law, rarely held accountable for their mistakes, can get in my face and yell, but if I don't remain perfectly calm and keep my hands visible, I can be considered a threat and killed. should I go on?

They try that statement they will lose. This man was shot in the back while putting his keys in the door. That's not engaging with the police in any way. He was no threat to the police at that time. There was no split second requirement to make a decision either. I really don't think a jury is going to see that as a threat to the officer. I can't help thinking there is more to this story though. U.S. Marshals don't just walk up and shoot someone in the back.
 
I bet it ends up like this......

1.... Verbal altercation happened

2.... At that time gun was spotted

3.... Suspect was told to drop the weapon

4... suspect didnt drop weapon and was again ordered to drop weapon

5.... suspect again refused verbal command

6....BANG your dead

Makes much more sense than White cop just shoots black kid on sight now doesnt it? I mean...Lets at least pretend to be real. yep....sure does make more sense. :laugh:

it's been standard procedure for years to contact the BCI to investigate officer involved shootings.........why did they wait 3 days and IF, big IF, they did find a gun at the scene, where is it? that's something they would produce to clear the cop immediately
