I view it from two different perspectives. Most college campuses are politically liberal and many of the professors/administrators are politically liberal. And there has been a movement on campuses to chill free (and conservative speech). Anecdotal but was listing to a podcast with a couple of Ivy League professors and they gave the example of at either Brown or Princeton a few years back the Chief of Police for NYC was coming to campus to speak about stop & frisk and ultimately wasn't able to talk because students said it was uncomfortable for them etc. etc. You're talking an Ivy League school where the possibility that a number of our future leaders are on campus and they don't have the emotional capacity to listen to the NYPD Chief Police speak? That's crazy to me.
But his premise that you're a bad person if you want to go to a top Universities in this country is quite frankly retarded (pardon my french).
Your apology is long winded because obfuscation through an unsourced anecdote requires that. BidenforPotus has it right. Trump supporters all hate education. To the point.
We could debate Terry v Ohio anywhere. Only on a college campus would that reference not sound like a foreign language. Your party is the stupid party filled with stupid uneducated haters
who lack the intelligence to even talk about what they hate, much less be offended by it.
