QAnon believes that the United States' federal government, especially the Democratic Party, has been infiltrated by an international cabal of Satanists, child sex traffickers, pedophiles and cannibals and that Trump has been put in the White House to fight the cabal. These type of people use to stand on the street corners on a soapbox. The internet has given them a better platform to a bigger audience. Thank goodness they are still the minority.
 
Qanon is just a meme, not even a real thing.

But I still lol at the fools who think America or any 1st world nation was ever a "democracy" to begin with (the only "pure democracy" in recent times was the French Reign of Terror) - that's exactly why we were never supposed to be a "democracy" to begin with.

It's bad enough as it it is that literacy has been extended to the bare minimum public education demographics - resulting in the Democrats getting way more votes than they should.

If there was a way to impose military dictatorship solely on the left, and allow "democracy" only for white male property owners who are members of the nationalist party, this would be the best solution.

It's very much a real phenomenon that people are devoting much of themselves to the Q conspiracy theories. There's a subreddit called r/Qanoncasualties where posters are pouring their hearts out because the people they love have become obsessed with hidden cabals, secret plots, false flags, etc.

I think the Q thing falls into the category of being a "stand alone complex" where a seemingly small idea can mutate and become something much bigger because individuals' insecurities and fears can manifest in it, and to another degree because some people think it's funny. Much like a meme, but with real world consequences.
