Religion Is A Sickness

I guess one could call it “terms of service”. It’s a private school. They can set the rules as they see fit. Even ones as goofy as this one.

Yeah. But as I have asked before, how is liking someone of the same sex a "sexual immorality"? Will they kick a boy out for telling his fellow female classmate he has a crush on her?

To normal people like you and me, it isn’t. But, as I said, this kind of institution, private AND religious, can set the rules.

Why in the fuck a parent would want to send their kid to a school like that in the first place, is beyond me.

An 8-year-old student was kicked out of a Christian elementary school, after she told another female student she had a crush on her, the mother says.

The incident occurred last week, when Chloe Shelton, a second grader at Rejoice Christian School in Owasso, Oklahoma, told another female student she had a crush on her, mother Delanie Shelton told CNN.
Chloe was immediately removed from the playground and spent the next few hours in the principal's office, missing class time as a result, Shelton said.
"Before I was even called, the vice principal told Chloe that the Bible says that women can only have children with a man," Shelton told CNN. "(The vice principal) asked me how I feel about girls liking girls and I told her that I see no issue with it."

'Sexual immorality' is grounds for dismissal, handbook states
The school's handbook states that "any form of sexual immorality" goes against its beliefs, including "professing to be homosexual/bisexual."
Students who do not "conform to the standards and ideals of work and life" at the school forfeit the "privilege" of attendance, the handbook states.

A 8-year-old girl? My goodness. Where's the innocence?

The puses of religions are erupting everywhere, even at kindergarten schools. The stench is spreading and it ain't good.

Good question. I hope that poor little girl isn't damaged too much. I mean basically they're telling her that she doesn't belong with other children just because. It's a rejection of the worst kind for those poor children.

True, but growing up is full of rejection and disappointment. It's a transition from childhood fantasy to social conditioning.

Kids can't even bring their .22 rifle to show'n tell anymore.

In any case, I hope the mother sues. This seems to be a very good case.

Private school. No doubt it has some morals clause and, no doubt, mom signed her rights away at enrollment.

Military school is better. Teach the kid to shoot and fight then, on graduation, go over to the old school and kick all of their asses. :)

They would be hard pressed to explain how liking someone is a sexual immorality. :rofl2:
