No one said human nature is infinitely malleable, drama queen. Human nature exists along a very, very long spectrum. How malleable is your existence? Are you sure of your gender and your sexual orientation, your sex and your sexuality? Well, guess what, asshole. So are transgender people. Science understands that people can be straight, gay, and anything in between. They can also be female, male, and anything in between, both biologically and psychologically. The most beautiful thing about humanity is that it is complex, multifaceted, and nonbinary. Your neurotic obsession with telling other people that they have to fit into one of the birthday candle holes of your shriveled brain is regressive. it's not that big of a spectrum. gender is the largest predictor of personality traits.
I think people should be free to not conform to gender stereotypes.
but many people are fine with those roles, and generally, the degree to which one conforms to physical and social gender roles of their gender, one is more attractive to their target mate population.
