Would you want to fly on an airplane designed by engineers who got the math wrong? Built by workers who couldn't read a tape measure correctly? Just curious...

You should watch the movie "Hidden Figures", a true story.

This was a story about a person doing the job of Calculator. Back in the days of slide rules before electronic calculators, a Calculator was a person that did the math for engineers and scientists at larger companies. They didn't do the design work, the engineering, or design the equations, they simply did the math that resulted from that. It was a skilled trades job for all intents. With the invention of the scientific calculator, this job became obsolete because an electronic machine could do it faster and better.

Who cares? If race matters to you, then you are a racist.

Bingo.

There is a fallacy called a compositional error fallacy. In a nutshell, it can be demonstrated with a bag of marbles.

If you pull out a white marble, you immediately assume that all the marbles in the bag are white. This is a fallacy, which is extending the property (the color) of a class (a bag of marbles) improperly across the class, or to the class itself.
Then the class is people, that is called 'bigotry'.
When the property extended is a genetic trait, it is called 'racism'.

Both racism and bigotry are the same fallacy...a compositional error fallacy. It's an ugly trait. It is designed to package people into neat little boxes so you can treat them like shit, or so you can treat them as elites.

Examples:
black skin color means you are mathematically inept.
yellow skin color means you are mathematically superior.
white skin color means you can be a successful engineer.
gray eyes see further and are more accurate marksmen.

Every single one of these statements is racism. People that actually believe any of them are racists.

Actually, it was with the easier access to electronic computers (a scientific calculator is also an electronic computer). One of these Calculators became the person who got the computer set up and running successfully at NASA. The IBM technicians (who were white) couldn't figure it out.

During most of the Apollo project, they were STILL using slide rules (I still have mine and I still know how to use it!). The computer was used to verify their work and to do more repetitive calculations, such as drag coefficients during lift off and initial flight, and again during the reentry procedure. This transition was also depicted in the movie Hidden Figures.

It was not the story of one Calculator. It is the story of FOUR of them, and the paths they each took within NASA.

That's quite a claim. It does seem racist, isn't it?

How else do you explain this?
"White supremacy manifests itself in the focus on finding the right answer."

LOL it's racist to expect a black man to get the right answer.
LOL Fucking low expectations FTW!

Expecting the correct answer is racist! LOL
This is where we are at in the degradation of america. thanks, liberals!
