I'm okay with plea deals that serve the needs of the nation. Treating Grandpa and Grandma for following the mob in an hour after the Capitol was breached the same as those who attacked police and broke into the Capitol is wrong.
Justice is best served case by case, not the standard Left Wing One-Size-Fits-All ham handedness the Democrats usually do.
OTOH, I fully support throwing the book and maximum sentences at those who planned, funded and actively participated in attacking the Capitol and those defending it.
