Masking- I'm done

This week I will have my booster (second) shot of the Trump Vaccine and prior to that I had two negative snot tests and two negative antibody tests. As far as The Science goes I am immune and not contagious, so the mask is off my face and in my pocket. I will not be wearing it in spite of state mandates and signs upon entering retail establishments.

If I'm scolded at or whatever by a private individual (Karen) I will state that I have been vaccinated and the conversation regarding masking won't go further. Only if asked by a store employee will I comply.

The business will toss you. I'm sure the customers of that establishment will be happy they caught a break and don't have to deal with your lunacy.

lunacy? his position is based on science, yours on insecurity. I myself only wear one where required and have been in many stores where the owner etc is not wearing a mask and I take mine off as well.


My current "mask" is the oakley one but I took out the actual filter so it's like no mask at all. ;)

I've been to several since I adopted this policy and that hasn't happened. It appears that you are acting against The Science, or just being a Karen.

I wear a mask in public despite being vaccinated. I figure that a) it doesn't hurt me. I'm not a snowflake that thinks putting on one additional piece of clothing is trampling on my first amendment rights. Of course I'm still pissed I have to wear shoes. How they dare they deny me my constitutional right to go barefoot? But I digress. So, a) it doesn't hurt me, b) it might make others feel more comfortable, and c) we haven't 100% established that I can't get or spread the disease after I've been vaccinated. Unlike the OP, I don't spend my day looking to play poor widdle victim. I just get with the fucking program so we can get back to near normal sooner rather than later. Carry on.

He was probably an asshole as a kid, too. Probably told his parents he wouldn't take orders from the man, he would sneeze all over everything, because that was his constitutional right.

You realize being vaccinated does not mean you cannot carry and transmit the virus? There are others who have not been vaccinated or cannot be vaccinated and they are still at risk.

When I see people in stores without masks I think, now there's a selfish person. And I'm no snowflake.
