That is the statutory definition and it fits perfectly. The charges have not all been made. But it is clearly and inarguably sedition.

Until there are actual charges of sedition you’re using the term in a colloquial sense.

Would you tackle even a teenage girl armed with a knife? What if the victim was stabbed even after the perp was tased?

Might not sound so reasonable if you’re the person who’s facing the attacker.

She’s apparently chopped liver in all this. The cop may have saved *the black girls* life and his life is probably turned to crap now. I wouldn’t be a cop for any amount of money. Not in these days.

Well, on a serious note. It looked like one person was going to be stabbed. It wasn't some 'stand-off', it was a 'dynamic' action in play. It's a split second decision. I'm guessing the person that was going to be stabbed thinks the Police did the right thing.
Hopefully, all this will lead to 'Police Reform'. 'Laws' are made by the Legislature, that's where it starts. The Police, usually High School graduates that joined the Military after High School, are the Recruits that the Police Departments hire. THEY ... don't make the 'Laws', they are just the Pawns that carry out the Laws.

The Nixxon 'No-Knock' law is what killed Breona Taylor. Happens all the time:

In case you haven’t noticed, we’re not asking they do that, we’re demanding they do exactly that. It has long been police practice to announce their presence and warn of deadly force before actually using it. Watch the video. Firing his gun and announcing his presence would have frozen everybody, including a teenage girl with a knife.
 
knife attack (it was not knife fight -it was an attack) is using deadly force.
The cop would make a reasonable assumption that the girl's life was in imminent danger.
So he shot the bitch...go crazy with a knife and shit happens -no tears for her (perp)
