Yeah martial arts instructors never ever trained anyone to defend themselves against a person welding a knife or a gun.

ANY MARTIAL ARTS INSTRUCTOR WITH ANY REAL FIGHT EXPERIENCE OUTSIDE A DOJO, WOULD NOT HAVE A PROBLEM TELLING YOU THAT A PERSON WITH A KNIFE WILL WIN THE FIGHT, NEALRY ALL THE TIME, OVER AN UNARMED PERSON.
