But Trump can’t get credit for anything and Biden has to ‘save the day’ and yeah lol. Trump *especially* can’t get credit for it because the Fake Trump virus narrative is critical—even after the election.
But tragically, India shows what a lack of ‘vaccine preparedness’ can mean. Also the EU, to a lessor extent: too many layers of government slowed down their financing/contracting with pharmaceuticals and that slowed down their vaccine distribution. And the effects are apparent.
It’s no coincidence that post-Brexit UK is doing better than the EU. The whole affair comprises a strong argument for nationalism.

There was a pause in the counting. Every commentator I heard leading up to Election Day emphasized that there would be that pause...because the number of mail-in ballots in the 2020 election was going to be enormous.
EVERY COMMENTATOR ON GODDAM NEAR EVERY STATION MENTIONED THAT IT WOULD HAPPEN.
Anyone with a functioning brain would realize that it was going to happen without anyone mentioning it...so I can understand why you and so many other morons of the right cannot.
Trump WAS leading in many places...but that was because he and his campaign kept telling his voters NOT TO VOTE BY MAIL. They were instructed by their Dear Leader to vote on Election Day in person at machines.
Their votes were counted first.
We all knew that was going to happen. The Democrats, and MANY Independents, were not going to follow the moron-in-chief's instructions to vote in person. There was a fucking pandemic raging. So the Democrats and MANY of the Independents voted by mail.
Their votes were slower in being counted...AS EVERY FUCKING COMMENTATOR WARNED THAT THEY WOULD.
So there WAS a pause...and then the votes from intelligent people started to come in...and Biden WON.
