Of course, they were. What would have happened if they hung Pence and killed politicians that are less than 100 percent Trumpy. That was the plan. That and stopping the joint political ceremonial counting of the electoral votes. Trump wanted that stopped. It was delayed by the insurrectionists which is the definition of sedition. It was no accident that Trump held a rally near the capitol at that time and place.
Romney and AOC would have been murdered. Lots of others would have too.

It’ll all come out in the trials of the militia leaders. Not only will they use the Trump defense, but they’ll have proof assistance came from the White House. Sure, not Trump himself, but probably Junior, Rudy, etc.
Arrest all criminals and introduce them to the American justice system. It doesn’t matter where they committed their crimes, but it does matter who has jurisdiction over their crimes.
