racists birds

After two tries you still fail to see the important difference between a boycott and a legal ban, so no point in trying again.
you are nothing but tenacious albeit continually incorrect.
I just told you boycotts are used by cities and locals.. More often it's a country (like boycotting S Africa)
but the principle is the same. Moreover these are democratic elected officials - legal representatives of their populace.

You are searching to wedge some kind of difference between a public and a private boycott -
there is none in terms pf legitimacy and usage

I'll pose this observation instead. If the Founders had thought the people could be trusted with preserving their liberties on their own there wouldn't be a Bill of Rights. Without it, we probably would have voted
away our freedoms away a long time ago.
what does this have to do with anything being discussed. It's not even a decent straw man

It has to do with a choice not to do business as compared to a law forbidding business. If you can't discern a meaningful difference I can't help you further. The "observation" that went over your head is on point, and a point you might grasp if your community banned, not merely officially boycotted, a product you like and possibly even depend on for no reason other than political disagreement with its American manufacturer.

Woke-a- Cola is not "forbidden from doing business" "from the community" why cant you get the facts correct?
it's a limited boycott -well within their purview:
Officials in Surry County, North Carolina, voted to remove Coca-Cola machines from all government facilities
