Trump ran the most corrupt administration in recent history. He used the justice dept for his own needs and to harm the opposition. That is what a tyrant and dictator would do. There are no guidelines, laws, and regulations that Trump cared about. He did whatever he wanted and defied you to stop him. Since he had presidential powers and was happy to misuse them he just kept on going. Trump had plans in taking over the FBI according to Jr. America would not have survived a second Trump admin.

I think the chances of that are about as likely as Trump turning over a new leaf, apologizing to everyone he has ever caused grief to, announcing that he is an admitted control freak and scoundrel, that he is going to stop making public statements, and that he will seek professional treatment.

Personally, I think there are enough sane conservatives, both public and private, to demand a true conservative party to block the excesses of the New Liberals emerging in the Democratic Party.
