"Leftists" is too broad a term, but includes liberalism. I hope you don't believe Trump or the Republican Party under him is liberal. Not all leftists are liberals, that's true, since the term now includes economic
theory apart from ideas of personal liberty and sometimes in conflict with those ideas. I think you'll find most Democrats and most "Leftists" on this board are liberals, not "commies" as you like to slime us
in choosing to ignore the liberal side of the definition of Left.

Only one political party attacked the Capitol on 1/6.

Only one political party is forcing people to register their political views with the state.

Only one political party tried to pull off an armed coup.

Only one political party is abridging people's right to vote.

Only one political party literally called Nazis "very fine people".
