They actually can be quite easy to miss. There are several such silos in my area and a lot of people don't even know they are there.

We have heavy brush most places on the Wet Side of Washington. It obscures the view of that chain link fence and concrete pad.

that is a counter claim to the anti gunners saying that the 2nd can indeed be infringed because you cannot own a nuke. Initially, 2nd Amendment purists agreed with you, but then anti gunners took it down to rockets, RPGs, and machine guns............so we started having to debate the 'line' being drawn. the lefties don't relent, they keep taking inches, so we pushed back. you want to continue infringing, we'll insist on 'shall not be infringed'............
