That's the whine that all restaurants and other low-paying businesses are using these days. The reality is when stuff was closed, ppl found other jobs that paid better.
I visited my daughters in Vermont a couple of weeks ago. We went to downtown Burlington where they have a lovely open-air mall that's city streets mostly closed to traffic. It was super busy on Saturday afternoon. We saw sign after help-wanted sign. One pizza place was offering $15/hour for servers, $18/hr. for cooks, and $20/hr for shift managers. No one's getting *that* much money on unemployment.
So you are saying these folks have more skill than the average democrat. And more work ethic. I am all for one immigrant into this country, one "entitled" democrat out.
