(CNN)Health care workers at Jacksonville's Baptist Medical Center in Florida are hearing panic, fear and regret from many of their patients as an increasing number are admitted for Covid-19 complications -- and as many need to be put on ventilators.
"We're getting ready to intubate the patient, which means putting them on a ventilator, and they said, 'If I get the vaccine now, could I not go on the ventilator?' So, they're begging for it," Chief Nursing Officer Tammy Daniel told CNN. "They're desperate because they are gasping for air, they can't breathe, they are scared, they feel like they're going to pass away. "
But by then, they are too late for a vaccine to stop their infection.

It should because allowing one's ego and ignorance to put them in the death ray of the covid-19 virus to which has the potential of destroying the lungs, is nothing to play with especially when one considers the horrors of drawing their last breath as a result of lungs that have become dysfunctional on a ventilator. This is when it could have all been avoided with a couple of vaccine shots. I have my vaccine id card and fully willing to show it to verify that I have been vaccinated at not being a secret but something that should contribute at ensuring a safer environment.

I’m happy people are coming around and getting the shot.I am not sure how or why skipping vaccinations during the worst pandemic in a century became seen by the mouth-breathers and slack-jawed as a ticket to enhance their anti-Biden street cred.
But if the remarkable upward trend of vaccinations in the last two weeks in anti-vax states like Arkansas is any indication, icy tendrils of panic are gripping Deplorables. Even if they won't admit in public or on message boards that they covertly ran to the nearest vacination facility.
I’m happy people are coming around and getting the shot.
