Like in Florida at dealing with tyrant so-called governors, its time for the ethical and lawful judicial system to take action against the destructive affects of these tyrants on society, and to hopefully end up on a recall ballot to be held further accountable for their crimes against society as the internal enemy. Abbott and DeSantis should hopefully realize they will not be the end of Democracy or society either:

Texas judge on Tuesday issued a restraining order preventing the enforcement of Gov. Greg Abbott’s (R) ban on mask mandates in schools, ABC affiliate KSAT reports.

Texas judge on Tuesday issued a restraining order preventing the enforcement of Gov. Greg Abbott’s (R) ban on mask mandates in schools, ABC affiliate KSAT reports.

According to the station, Bexar County Civil District Court Judge Toni Arteaga approved the order just hours after leaders from San Antonio and Bexar County filed a challenge.

The ruling county and city school officials to require masks in public schools until an additional decision is made on Abbott’s executive order on Monday, according to KSAT.

“I don’t do this lightly,” Arteaga said in court, noting that comments from the San Antonio medical director “weighed heavily” in her decision, as well as the fact that the school year has already started for students in many areas across the state.

“And those under 12 of course, as you know, don’t have access to the vaccine, and they’re already in school,” the judge added, according to The Washington Post.

“So I do find that this is emergent, I do find that it is necessary,” she added.

The city of San Antonio and Bexar County filed the lawsuit earlier Tuesday asking the court to put a temporary hold on Abbott’s executive order so that it could require masks in public schools, as well as mandate that unvaccinated students quarantine if they are determined to have been in close contact with someone who tests positive for COVID-19. If I was Abbott, I'd tell the schools they have to provide a fresh mask for every student every day and the cost will come out of their current budget and operating funds. No new funds will be appropriated.

It'd be less than a nanosecond before schools and teacher's unions in Texas wanted nothing to do with masks.

What type of reconciliation can the two bit and wheel chair bound tyrant Abbott do when it comes to his and his gutter crew's attempt to wage war on the 15th Amendment voting rights act signed into law by President LB Johnson of Texas in 1965?, and advancing the covid destructive affect on the population of Texas which obviously has the ability to spread elsewhere? This seditious creature Abbott, in particular, deserves to be thrown out with his smelly wheel chair too who has done Texas and America dirty in his own way.

Well, starting off with insults and vitriol does nothing to strengthen your argument. I assume the recent bill the Republicans in Texas want to strengthen the integrity of their elections is what you are ranting about. Let's see, that bill would:

Make it illegal to remove or restrict a poll watcher at a polling location where they are lawfully.
Provides law for appointing poll watchers
Poll watchers can observe any and all processes of the election but cannot interfere.
If anyone assists a voter in voting, they must make a full disclosure of their name, address, and relationship to that voter
Makes ballot harvesting illegal and a felony
Makes compensation of anyone assisting voters illegal and a felony
Strengthens mail-in balloting by making it illegal for anyone but the person a ballot is mailed to doing anything with that ballot.
Strengthens the process form mail-in ballot applications.
Requirements for voter ID included

How is any of that bad? How does any of that "wage war on the 15th Amendment?"

Seems you are the sort that thinks the Democrat's HR 1 Fuck the Voters Act is a good idea to allow massive corruption, fraud, and questionable elections as the norm in the US.

Will he get to that before or after fixing the grid that completely crapped out because it got a little cold in February and then it got a little warm in June?

I don't understand why you are so fixated on the mask when you have no trouble wearing white hoods.

But there was no widespread fraud in Texas in 2020, so what's the purpose of this bill?

Red herrings. Irrelevant to the discussion at hand.

So you can show instances of fraud from last year's elections that justify each of these new rules?

Teachers and educational staff want to keep kids from getting sick. They are not into Abbot's politics. I am sure they can get masks donated.

Completely relevant...check your own house before you start poking around others'.

Abbott needs to focus on why the grid in Texas fails every couple months, not on schools who are trying to keep kids safe.

But in all honesty, I really don't give a shit if kids in Texas get COVID and die.

I know any kid who doesn't wear a mask is a future Conservative voter, so I'm perfectly OK with those kids dying before they can vote, and I'm glad you feel the same way.

Doesn't change what I said. They'd need hundreds of thousands of masks to meet that requirement. While mask makers would rejoice, it would cost tens of millions to schools or donors to provide a fresh mask every day for every student. Worse, it would do virtually nothing to keep anyone from getting sick.

to prevent obvious issues that could lead to fraud like ballot harvesting, or no voter ID requirement.

Texas already had strict laws about that stuff...so strict, that the 2020 election in Texas had no reported widespread fraud.

So what's the purpose?

Are you saying the previous laws weren't good enough, even though the 2020 election went flawlessly in Texas?

If not, why would these laws be any better?

Tu Quoque fallacy in the form of an ad hominem

More red herring in the form of a thought terminating cliché.

I want you to keep saying this shit because the only people who are listening to you at this point are the people I want to catch COVID and die anyway.

Why? There was no fraud in Texas.

Unless...you're going to argue that Trump didn't legitimately win it...

Why don't you enforce the laws you already have instead of dreaming up new ones?

Meaningless Argument to probability If there is potential for fraud, whether it has been utilized or not by someone, shouldn't those loopholes in the law be closed in case someone decides to use them to commit fraud?

Tu Quoque fallacy in the form of an ad hominem

Really? How so? Explain yourself.

More red herring in the form of a thought terminating cliché.

I can't help it that Texas is a Shithole State where the grid falls apart every couple months, and a deadly disease is spreading uncontrolled among children.

You get to own all that shit.

If there is potential for fraud

But didn't the previous election laws prevent that?

So again, why not just enforce the laws you already have, since those laws already led to a clean election in Texas?

Unless...you now think that Trump's win in Texas wasn't legit....

shouldn't those loopholes in the law

There are no loopholes to close because Texas ran a clean election last year.

So these laws aren't about protecting the vote, they're about something else...
