Let's see, last Friday his approval rating was 53% and today it's 46% according to Reuters, Galllup, and AP.
I think it is because most people that make up the 7% that obviously changed their approval of Joe Biden almost overnight, are younger Americans that were not even alive to watch America pull it's last troops out of Vietnam. This is something new to them.
It's emotionally disturbing to watch America tuck tail, having to determine an American military campaign to be a lost cause, and bring troops home, watching millions of people scramble for cover. Humans are emotional beings. I remember the Vietnam blunder- So I have always known that this was how the Afghanistan War was going to end as well, so I was pretty much prepared for it.
And I can honestly say, given the circumstances, I don't think anything the president could have been done any different than he did, that would have made any difference. SHOULD THE AMERICANS over there, caught up in the last minute chaos, acted much sooner on their own behalf- YOU BET YOUR ASS THEY SHOULD HAVE INSTEAD OF WAITING TILL THE LAST MINUTE TO THINK ABOUT BOARDING A PLANE AND GETTING THE FUCK OUT! HELL YES! They have had months to prepare for this instead of waiting til the last minute. WHY IS THIS BIDEN'S FAULT?
Is it Biden's fault that the TALIBAN took over the entire country in less than a week? FUCK NO! How is this Biden's fault? I'm sure that all of you FUCKING MILITARY GENIUSES OUT THERE- THAT KNOW MORE THAN ANY GENERAL JUST LIKE DONALD TRUMP- THAT ARE BLAMING BIDEN- THAT ARE CHANGING YOUR APPROVAL OF HIM- CAN PLEASE TELL ME HOW THIS WAS BIDEN'S FAULT! Now mind you, over the course of the last 20 years, the United States spent over a trillion dollars of you people's hard earned tax dollars to train and equip police departments and a military comprised of over 300,000 Afghanistan people to defend their country- BY OUR VERY BEST ARMY, MARINE, and AIR FORCE troops, advisors, trainers, commando's, fighters, and pilots. BUT THE MINUTE WE LEAVE- THE TALIBAN COMES RUSHING IN, AND THE AFGHANISTAN POLICE AND MILITARY WE TRAINED AND EQUIPPED ALL THOSE YEARS, DID NOT JUST LAY DOWN THEIR ARMS AND SURRENDER, BUT RATHER CHANGED SIDES AND ARE NOW WORKING WITH THE TALIBAN TERRORISTS!
SO CAN YOU MILITARY GENIUSES, NOW BLAMING BIDEN, PLEASE TELL ME HOW THAT IS BIDEN'S FAULT?
AND ALL OF YOU OVER-EMOTIONAL PEOPLE CRYING NOW ABOUT HOW BIDEN IS JUST ABANDONING THE AFGHANISTAN PEOPLE WHO HELPED OUR TROOPS, OR HELPED OUR CIA, SPIED FOR US, INTERPRETED FOR US ETC, SEEM TO ME TO BE JUMPING THE GUN, or drinking the gin, or whatever!
BECAUSE, THE DATE THAT BIDEN SET TO HAVE OUR TROOPS FULLY OUT ALONG WITH THE AFGHANISTAN PEOPLE THAT HELPED US IS STILL AUGUST 31st! MY CALENDAR SAY'S IT'S ONLY AUGUST 19th!
And if all of those Americans, people keep referring to, that are still there, had of started leaving when Biden announced the troop withdrawal back in April 13th, WE COULD BE USING THESE MILITARY PLANES TO EVACUATE ALL OF THESE AFGHANISTAN PEOPLE THAT WE INTEND TO BRING WITH US INSTEAD OF NOW HAVING TO EVACUATE AMERICANS! BUT AGAIN, HOW IS THIS BIDEN'S FAULT!
WHAT? DID YOU PEOPLE EXPECT BIDEN TO GO OVER THERE AND FUCKING PACK THESE PEOPLE UP AND DRIVE THEM TO THE AIRPORT?
DID YOU EXPECT BIDEN TO GIVE THEM A WAKE-UP CALL AND SCRAMBLE SOME EGGS FOR THEIR BREAKFAST TOO?
