Hello T. A. Gardner,
May I ask a question seeking a straight answer?
Why don't you want to?
Because it's clearly a non-necessity of any value or use.

Hello T. A. Gardner,
Here's what they would say:
"I'd take wearing a mask over getting shot at any day, my friend"
Because it's clearly a non-necessity of any value or use.
My father willingly wears one, and considers anyone who doesn't an inconsiderate, unpatriotic asshole. I guarantee you there is no one on this forum who has earned that right more than he has..
Why "clearly?"
At best, there is disagreement. But many in the scientific community think that it can help slow the spread.
I'd say at this point, the field evidence is pretty conclusive, that they don't slow the spread.
Hello Dirt McGirt,
I disagree. Everyone should listen to this message. Everyone should here it with all the emphasis only Arnold can put on it. I can hear his voice as I read the passage. It speaks.
What Arnold said makes a lot of sense for Americans who want to keep America strong by keeping America united.
We all have to pull together to tote this weight, my friend.
What special emphasis does the son of a nazi officer, who says “screw your freedoms” and then proceeds to unapologetically advocate for stripping personal liberties have? If anything he should know better.
I’ll listen to Arnold if he wants to talk about steroid stacks and workout splits, but that’s about all.
And spare me the whole desire to keep America united. The 4,000 threads that are started here daily dumping on people who don’t agree with a certain line of thinking makes that laughable at best. Y’all’s idea of “united” is everyone confirming to what you want. And that’s not my weight to tote regardless of how you and Arnold want to spin it.
Do you think Arnold is a nazi? What relevance does his lineage have?
Would you have thought that curfews during WWII were an infringement on personal liberties?
No. I don’t flippantly throw about the term nazi like others do. And I said in my previous post that I don’t blame Arnold for the sins of his father, but him advocating stripping away freedoms is chock full of irony. He should know better.
And yes curfews at any time are an infringement of personal liberty.
I do a ton for my country. Ive slapped the teeth right out of libtards heads many a time. Call it an attitude adjustment. REALLY works wonders.
After three wars, at least a half-dozen serious civil disturbances, and decades of asbestos, lead paint, toxic chemicals, and near daily threat of electrocution, I think I've done at least 1000 times more for America than that pencil necked, jabbering, moron Biden ever did.
Wear a mask? Give me a break you whiny, little, retard and STFU! I've more than earned the right not to wear one if I don't want to.
I think there are times when we all have to pitch in for the good of the country.
fuck yourself.
then go suck a bag of dicks.
Thanks for explaining. I missed that. I don't agree w/ your position, but the bolded is logical.
And at least you're consistent. I think there are times when we all have to pitch in for the good of the country.
Really?
That directly contradicts what the vast majority who are actually in that field have concluded. On what evidence do you base this assumption?
https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.05.18.21257385v1 (Yale School of Medicine)Because COVID-19 can spread via respired droplets, many states have mandated mask use in public settings. Randomized control trials have not clearly demonstrated mask efficacy against respiratory viruses, and observational studies conflict on whether mask use predicts lower infection rates.
https://www.acpjournals.org/doi/10.7326/M20-6817#f1-M206817Observational evidence suggests that mask wearing mitigates transmission of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). It is uncertain if this observed association arises through protection of uninfected wearers (protective effect), via reduced transmission from infected mask wearers (source control), or both.

The only actual science based studies on this to date. Everything the CDC and WHO are using is anecdotal.

There have been studies trotted out to support mask wearing such as this one:
https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMc2007800
But that one, like many others doesn't use data on actual transmission rates of Chinese Disease among a mask wearing population versus no mask worn. Instead, it focuses on the efficacy of masks in a laboratory setting. This was then extrapolated to suggest masks help stop the transmission of Chinese Disease.
The studies done on populations and rates of COVID infection to date show no evidence that conclusively proves masks help or lower the rate of infection.
Nothing has been conclusive, the evidence is actually strong that they have a mitigating effect. Note "mitigating effect" - they do not prevent transmission, and as far as I know, no one has ever claimed as much.
Beyond the studies that you didn't post that support mask-wearing, there is just logic. It's a respiratory virus. Yes, viruses are microscopic and masks don't necessarily block them. But, masks do limit the distance that respiratory droplets can travel, significantly. That is 100% fact.
It's such a minor inconvenience. Future generations will look back on the big "mask debate" like we view using leaches as a medical treatment.
