They can operate tanks, they can't maintain choppers or air.
The amount of armored vehicles is staggering as are the weapons caches
And yet you have no proof of that.

It’s an impressive haul for a group that was once dismissed as a band of rural Luddites when it emerged in the 1990s. But despite its austere interpretations of Islam and rejection of much of modern society, the Taliban has shown flexibility when it comes to technology. It has been active on the Internet and social media. And its fighters are no strangers to U.S. military equipment.
“The Taliban have already been using sophisticated military equipment that they have captured from Afghan national security forces in recent years,” said Robert Crews, an expert on Afghanistan at Stanford University. “They have used everything from night-vision goggles and scopes to sniper rifles and armored vehicles and artillery.”

Okay. So who? ISIS? Iran? Iraq? Syria? Saudi Arabia? What?
And who will be responsible for the transportation and the logistics? And how will they do it undetected?
Using that stuff and maintaining it are two completely different things.
There are more active duty mechanics in the US Army than active duty soldiers.
They will keep the armored vehicles running. The aircraft won't be flyable long. The small arms will be around a very long time. The other vehicle will run a long time. All that stuff is not junk.Exactly...all that stuff is just junk.
It's inoperable without the trained mechanics to maintain it.

You certainly can operate M 16 and grenades' and C4 and you can drive Ford RangersCan't operate a tank if you don't have the mechanics to maintain it, which the Taliban does not have.
All that stuff is not junk.
And parts to repair themYeah, it's all junk. It's pretty useless without the people who know how to maintain and fix it.
