MAGA MAN
Let's go Brandon!
yeah, you're lying.
Nope. And I do all my own maintenance/ repairs/ modifications. Except paint and body (I lack the patience) and of course engine machine work.
The TBird is a complete nut and bolt restoration: resto-mod with Vintage Air Gen 4, EFI, Electric cooling fan, AOD and full leather seating.
The Spider is currently getting a new modern wiring harness. It was a barn find during one of my inspections for home repairs. It's also getting carved American walnut dash panels.
The Vette was another barn find that barely ran, because the PO knew nothing about GM's first year computerized engine controls. Once I fixed all that, made my requisite electrical improvements to improve reliability, and spent about two weeks cleaning and detailing, it looks like it just rolled out of the showroom. It should, spending its life in the salt-free Piedmont, always garaged and low miles.
The BMW is my wife's daily. She normally trades in every three years but loves that car. A little tricky to maintain for most but simple for me.
The Macan is my daily and also my first Porsche. I made the mistake of test driving it when it was $20k over my planned budget, but after ten minutes of silky smoothness and super-tight handling I just adjusted my budget. I took out a small loan then paid it off in five months.
