True it's not mentioned, but it's a requirement inside airport security regardless if the article mentions it or not. Passengers are denied boarding for being maskless, violent and/or intoxicated. I think this "maskhole" hit a trifecta.

Again, you're assuming this was over a mask. The article suggests he was denied for being overly intoxicated. For all we know, he ripped off his mask in anger after being denied boarding, since the videos don't show the beginning of his tantrum.

He wasn't wearing a mask. That's illegal inside an airport. A

Consider a person who comes up angrily to the counter wearing his underwear on the outside of his pants. He appears a little unsteady and smells of alcohol. He had already been in one altercation and was now making another one at the gate. The agent has to power to deny boarding based on the Federal Aviation Regulations against boarding passengers. Although the actual power rests with the Captain, he can delegate it to the agent in charge of boarding and backed by the airline lawyers.

If this asshole passes a psych exam, he's facing prison for multiple charges, multiple counts including assault or battery. He can fight the mask charges then. :laugh:

That would be an assumption.

The TSA has required that masks shall be worn while in an airport until at least 2022.
