sep3 2021 NEWTOWN — A gunmaker being sued by nine families who lost loved ones in the Sandy Hook shootings has subpoenaed the academic, attendance and disciplinary records of five children killed that day. The subpoena included requests for school records of four educators who were killed.

Lawyers for those nine families moved in court Thursday to seal those confidential records of the five slain children and four slain educators because requested by the bankrupted Remington company.

Could be many reasons (see article). Maybe CT did not report the data in time to be included in the Uniform Crime Reports. FBI depends on state reporting which is not uniform. You don't have to look for some conspiracy.

But I do believe this: if Remington is being sued, they should have access to to any information they need to defend themselves.
The Sandy Hook families took as bad a gut punch as humans can take. No denying that.
Blaming Remington for it crosses the line from my perspective.
Remington didn't shoot any kids. That's the simple FACT.
