I always understood that natural immunity means you actually have to get the disease, per this definition: "Natural immunity is created when a person becomes infected by a disease. Take, for instance, someone who becomes infected with chickenpox. After the initial infection, the body builds immunity against the disease. This natural active immunity is why people who catch chicken pox are immune for many decades against the disease."
It doesn't mean you can't get the disease ever.

Apparently, there isn’t anyone who can’t get the bug or get it again. But it seems more of the vax’d get it than acquired immunity folks getting Round Two of it. Which raises the question of why the government and the vax fanatics are so resistant to the idea of giving the naturally immune a pass on the mandates. Do they all hold stock in Pfizer?

I do not think nurses should be taxed to the physical and mental breaking limit because Deplorables were too stupid or lazy to get vaxxed.
If Delta taught us nothing else, we have to be prepared and innoculated in advance for emerging variants of COVID.

Freedom means a Deplorables can opt out of vaccination as long as they pay out of pocket to get a clean test at least once a week to prove they are safe to work with colleagues.

Though I'm not a big proponent of making "get the disease in order to avoid a vaccine that is highly effective" a policy, I'll give the devil his due.
If acquired immunity is more effective than a vaccine, we are dealing with a subset that has already culled out the ones who basically died from
it.
Should we treat people who have cancer differently from those who have not? Of course.
How do we give the recalcitrant rubes the pass they want. They need to prove they have antibodies from having acquired covid.
They can pay for that extra test. PS People with prior covid positivity who lived have a higher resistance if they also get a booster.
So all signs still point to "get a vaccine" And telling people in advance that they should just get covid, is basically evil at work.
But they are evil scumbags. It's what they are.
I wonder if getting a flu vaccine isn't as good as getting the flu as measured by getting it twice.
When you live in the poorest least educated state in the US with the worst healthcare outcomes and nurses that hate masks, that's what Fox tells you!

You did not address my comment that Delta taught us we need to be prepared and innoculated in advance of any emerging COVID variants.
Delta caught us by surprise, and a lot of conservatives lost their lives choking on oxygen tubes because of it. That should be a lesson learned.
Preparation and anticipation is a good common sense approach to a global pandemic.
