DeSantis didn't do that...the FL department of health in conjunction with HHS did that.
DeSantis didn't even want federal help...but he should have taken it because since rejecting it, about 10,000 FL residents have died.
He isn't getting the job done.
Since May 2020, FL leads the nation in COVID cases, deaths, infection rate, positivity rate, and hospitalizations.
Meanwhile, it ranks near the bottom on vaccinations.
