Alec Baldwin and gun safety

If you were handed a gun and were told it was unloaded. Would you:

1. Point in in the direction of others and pull the trigger.

2. Check the gun yourself before pulling the trigger.
 
That girl is a bad armourer, but Baldwin is 100% responsible.

Maybe trying to outsource gun safety is a bad and legally ineffective harm mitigation strategy.

Anyone who has ever owned a gun knows that regardless what you are told it's your responsibility to handle the gun safely and to know what's expected. Since Baldwin is a dickhead he killed a person.
