I am not a historian but I feel like these Regressives more than many of the other brutalists we have seen make it a point to do everything they can to keep people stupid, confused and in fear. Burning down the society that one is working to take over is not a good long term strategy, which is part of why I see Woke as a mental illness and a cult more than a political movement.
