Note, I know many of you are lame, but there's no requirement that you have to feal actual fear. In fact, that's not what that word means at all in the self defense statute.. Wisconsin self defense law on that means a "reasonable person's judgment". If a reasonable person would have cause to believe they're in danger or that there's a credible threat. If you said something like, "I'll kill you" and a reasonable person would agree that you fully meant it and would try to keep your word, you can be shot dead right then and there regardless of if you had any weapons on you at all.
