Mad at Sen. Joe Manchin for nixing President Joe Biden’s multitrillion-dollar $2 trillion Build Back Better bill, Bette Midler tweeted out a slur of all West Virginians. Diva much, Bette?

Manchin, the “Beaches” legend claimed, “wants us all to be just like his state, West Virginia. Poor, illiterate and strung out.”

An ensuing uproar got her to back off — sort of: “I apologize to the good people of WVA for my last outburst,” she tweeted. “I’m just seeing red; #JoeManchin and his whole family are a criminal enterprise. Is he really the best WV has to offer its own citizens? Surely there’s someone there who has the state’s interests at heart, not his own.”

She couldn’t resist again demeaning the “good people” of West Virginia — who dare see their own interests, and Manchin, differently from her.

The elite left literally can’t conceive of legitimate disagreement: All of America that thinks differently is defective, a bunch of hicks and addicts. Progressives’ eternal blindness to their own bigotry is a marvel.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — West Virginia is at the bottom of CNBC’s list of the country’s best states for business with failing grades in workforce, access to capital, and technology and innovation.

CNBC released its annual rankings on Tuesday, in which West Virginia placed 47th overall. The news organization rated each state based on 10 categories, including cost of doing business, infrastructure, life, health and inclusion, economy, business friendliness, education, and cost of living. CNBC used data from federal government databases and other sources to determine scores in each category.

West Virginia placed 45th in CNBC’s 2019 ratings. The state’s highest ranking since 2007 has been 44th.

West Virginia had “F” grades in the workforce, access to capital, and technology and innovation categories. The state’s best categories were cost of living — a “B-plus” — and cost of doing business — a “B.”

Virginia, North Carolina, Utah, Texas and Tennessee earned the highest overall scores. Ohio placed 10th followed by Maryland at 12th, Pennsylvania at 23rd, and Kentucky at 41st.

Additionally, Manchin the fake democratic so-called Senator of WV supports destroying an important BBB act that would benefit WV greatly from years of repuke and blue dog or fake democrat neglect, failure and coal profit greed for themselves only. Sometimes, the reality of it all can be offensive towards someone's ego but facing the realistic hard cold facts of reality can be a truly important aspect of considering what is wrong against the wellbeing of society, and to promote efforts to correct those flaws.
