Finally, intelligent gun regulations

U. S. states have been using mail-in balloting securely for years.

I see that you don't know the difference between mail-in ballots and absentee ballots. Get back to me when you are better informed. :palm:

No state found more than a few examples of fraud in 2020.

It was the Biden miracle dontchyaknow!

Not used by any nation??

Out of 166 countries for which data is available, 40 used postal ballots in their most recent national election, according to country experts surveyed before the COVID-19 outbreak by the Electoral Integrity Project. Postal ballots were used most widely in Europe and North America and are also common in some countries in the Asia-Pacific region, such as India, Indonesia, South Korea and Sri Lanka. Postal ballots were not available in most African and Caribbean countries, and not available in any Middle Eastern or Latin American countries.

COVID. :palm:

Trump failed to win the popular vote in either of his presidential elections. That should tell you why he lost.

^Thinks Presidents win based on popular voting.

In the most ambitious U.S. effort to stave off the worst of climate change, President Joe Biden signed executive orders to transform the nation’s heavily fossil-fuel powered economy into a clean-burning one, pausing oil and gas leasing on federal land and targeting subsidies for those industries.

This did not affect current production, it was about sales of new oil and gas leases (which a federal judge blocked).

I'm informed enough to know they are essentially the same in many states. Other than those states that use mail-in ballots for everyone, other states may call it an absentee ballot but anyone can request one with little or no conditions attached.

Candidates rarely win the electoral college without also winning the popular vote. The 2016 Trump miracle was one of those rare occasions.

WRONG. :palm:

Trump miracle? You really are an uninformed douche aren't you?

SIX Presidents have won without the popular vote. The few times Republicans won with the popular vote were landslide type elections. Do you understand why we don't have popular vote elections for the Presidency? You won't find a lot of blue on this map:

The problem with the Electoral College and presidential elections is allowing states to have a WINNER TAKES ALL option- leaving the candidate without the most votes NO VOTES AT ALL to accumulate!

But, that problem is rectifying itself as more states move away from the WINNER TAKES ALL option.

A federal law would certainly make the WINNER TAKE ALL go away!

But looks like more and more states are pursuing this on their own!

Several responsible states are negotiating the idea already as we speak!

Based on studies of past presidential elections if electoral votes were based on a proportion of popular votes there would have been more presidents who won the electoral vote with less popular votes.

WRONG. :palm:

Nope, you need to do some research on mail-in and absentee ballots.

Twenty-six states and Washington, D.C., offer "no-excuse" absentee voting, which means that any voter can request and cast an absentee/mail ballot, no excuse or reason necessary.

Eight states conduct elections entirely by mail (California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Vermont and Washington), which means voters do not need to request a ballot, and instead automatically receive one.

The remaining states require a voter to provide an excuse to qualify for an absentee/mail ballot.
Excuses such as out of county, illness, etc. are not verified; so, they are essentially "no excuse" states.

The people of this country are going to have to decide if Democracy is something we want to move closer to- or farther from!

Since we are the leaders of the FREE WORLD- we must decide what kind of example we are going to be moving forward- and just how important being the leaders of the Free World means to us!

Now that Democracy is actually on the ballot- and has been since the onset of the Trump era- MORE PEOPLE ARE GOING TO PARTICIPATE AND VOTE THEIR HEARTS ON THESE MATTERS.

I trust the Vocal and Voting Majority to get this right!

There isn't but you don't technically need a car to travel. I understand your point but driving is a privilege not a right

It is actually a right.
So is flying an airplane, sailing a ship, walking, riding a bicycle, riding a horse, driving a tractor, using a skateboard, using a Segway, or any other method of getting around.

Licensing is only to show competence for certain devices such as cars or aircraft. If you can show that you can operate the vehicle safely according to the law, the state MUST give you the license. They have no choice.
On you own land, of course, the state has NO say. NO law can prevent you from driving a car, truck, or tractor on your own land, for example.

States have authority to require a license (showing competency) for certain limited things, outlined in their own constitutions. If it is not in their constitution, they CANNOT REQUIRE A LICENSE.

States have agreed to the 2nd amendment when they joined the Union. Their own constitutions also typically echo such rights for the people to keep and bear arms. They cannot require a license to use a weapon.

You have many rights. They do not have to be enumerated in any constitution. Rights do not come from a piece of paper.

This did not affect current production, it was about sales of new oil and gas leases (which a federal judge blocked).

It does affect current production. Think about it, for once.

You go to the store to buy plywood. You pay a certain price for it. That price is set by the availability of the plywood using futures pricing.

An interruption in the supply of resin used to make the plywood is being caused by some new government regulation.

The price of plywood begins to climb. Current production is still there, but the futures price of it is climbing. Eventually, of course, it will become more difficult to produce, as factories run low on their resin stocks and find they have to import it from another source at higher prices. Production begins to drop, but demand is still there.

Prices go up, possibly quite a lot.

This is what has happened to oil products. Through the actions of Biden, future oil supplies are being curtailed. They are illegal actions, but it is happening anyway. The futures price of oil goes up. It has been doing so since Biden was installed.

You go look at historic futures contract charts for oil and gasoline. Look at the last year.

Oil and gasoline are sold on international markets. The loss of future production because of Biden affects oil and gasoline prices around the world.

No, they are not. You must specifically request absentee status to get an absentee ballot. In many States, this can be quite restrictive on who can claim absentee status.
Other than those states that use mail-in ballots for everyone, other states may call it an absentee ballot but anyone can request one with little or no conditions attached.
You STILL HAVE TO REQUEST absentee status.

The President is not elected by popular vote.

The problem with the Electoral College
There is no problem with the electoral college.
and presidential elections
There is no problem with presidential elections (other than the election fault caused by election fraud by Democrats in 2020).
is allowing states to have a WINNER TAKES ALL option
States do not even have to allow a vote at all. See Article II.
leaving the candidate without the most votes NO VOTES AT ALL to accumulate!
Too bad for them. It's supposed to work like that.
But, that problem is rectifying itself as more states move away from the WINNER TAKES ALL option.
It is not a problem, and this is not happening.
A federal law would certainly make the WINNER TAKE ALL go away!
The federal government has NO authority here. They cannot override the Constitution of the United States.
But looks like more and more states are pursuing this on their own!
Nope. You are hallucinating.
Several responsible states are negotiating the idea already as we speak!
Who are you to say a State is irresponsible? Who made you Judge of the World?

Nope, you need to do some research on mail-in and absentee ballots.
It's not about 'research'. It's about the law and the Constitution.
Twenty-six states and Washington, D.C., offer "no-excuse" absentee voting, which means that any voter can request and cast an absentee/mail ballot, no excuse or reason necessary.

Which means they MUST REQUEST IT.

Election fraud is a problem in every one of them too. The SOTC no longer conducts elections, other than sham elections. They are an oligarchy, moving towards a dictatorship.
The remaining states require a voter to provide an excuse to qualify for an absentee/mail ballot.
SIZE=3]Excuses such as out of county, illness, etc. are not verified; so, they are essentially "no excuse" states.
Which means if the excuse does not exist, they registrant committed perjury.

New York and California don't think its a great idea...

Translation: Yes, Dutch, I hate democracy because 90% of the population is lazy and stupid so I need to tell them what to do...even if by force.

You've lied several times. Why should I trust anything you say now?

TBH, your demeanor has changed a lot since December 2020. My guess is you are busy trying to cover your ass so you don't end up with $70K worth of legal fees. LOL

you sure do like to make up alot of bullshit to get through your day. have fun with that.

There isn't but you don't technically need a car to travel. I understand your point but driving is a privilege not a right

only because that 'supposedly' limited government say so. do you believe that the founders would have thought requiring a license to drive a horse drawn wagon to be a safety concern???

Tomorrow, probably won’t, but down the road, the more one can lessen accessibility to guns today effects the greater number of guns in circulation later. And it isn’t the gangbanger doing the mass shootings in schools, malls, churches, theaters, retirement homes, places of employment, salons, outdoor concerts, etc.

Anchovies, the Second Amendment does not address “lessening accessibility to guns.”

It does address “the right to bear arms.”

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Poor Anchovies.
